It was difficult for me to be able to find a relationship with God, because I found it hard to accept that something I cannot see can be real.
I remember many people in my life who believed in God, and at Easter 2022, when I went to Billesdon Chapel, my life took a turn. I became fascinated by the stories they were sharing. Since then, there are many things God has done in my life — some of which I never knew until I started to believe and pray. He has planned out my life in such a way that it is full of joy and encouragement.
In fact, one of my favourite things that He has taught me in this life is that no matter where I am or what I am doing, He will be with me, and I can talk to Him about anything and everything.
He has a power unlike anything else. I have found that since I have put my trust in God, I have been able to handle situations differently. I have been able to speak with more people that I would never have had the chance to before. God has given me the ability to reflect upon myself and life. He has given me someone to talk to and ask anything. He has given me the strength to help with every aspect of my day.
He has blessed me and my beautiful family time and time again. It is difficult to say exactly what God has done in my life, but since putting my trust in Him, there has been an amazing transformation.
My journey is only just beginning with God. I was baptised just after Easter 2023, and I am excited to see how He will continue to change my life.
